1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once availability has been verified with Annelize or Pieter and any required deposit has been received in full. Bookings requested but not yet confirmed and paid for are provisional only and may be released.

2. Minimum Stay

A minimum stay of two (2) nights applies to all bookings.

3. Rates

Current nightly rates are published on our website and are quoted per unit, not per person, unless stated otherwise. Rates are subject to change without notice for new bookings but will be honoured as quoted for confirmed bookings.

• Mid-Week - R1150 per night
• Weekends - R1300 per night
• Holidays - R1450 per night
• December Holidays - R1600 per night

4. Payment

A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance payable prior to or on arrival, as agreed with Annelize or Pieter at the time of booking. Payment details will be provided directly upon confirmation of your booking.

5. Cancellations

Cancellation terms will be confirmed with you at the time of booking. Please contact Annelize or Pieter as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel a reservation.

6. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please contact us in advance if you require early check-in or late check-out, which will be accommodated where possible.

7. Occupancy

Shachar sleeps a maximum of 6 guests across 3 bedrooms, plus a sleeper couch suitable for 2 children. The number of guests may not exceed the agreed occupancy without prior consent.

8. Use of the Property

Guests are expected to treat the property, its furnishings and surrounds with care and respect. Any damage caused during your stay, beyond reasonable wear and tear, will be for the guest's account.

9. Conduct

Marloth Park is a wildlife reserve with free-roaming animals. Guests must adhere to reserve rules, drive at the posted speed limits, and never feed or approach wildlife. Shachar accepts no liability for guests who do not follow reserve safety guidelines.

10. Liability

Please also refer to our Disclaimer for further information regarding liability, wildlife and use of the property and its amenities, including the splash pool and boma.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
